November 2006
Gringo Records
have released their first ever compilation. It is titled 'Oh Yeah!' and features 'How the
mighty have stagnated' from the split
single and lots of other goodies from the Gringo
vaults.
We have also caved into peer pressure and now
have a myspace
presence.
June 2005
Another good review of
the split single, this time from is this music?.
Gringo have
unearthed a few copies of the Waters of
the Orient EP (and some other Gringo classics too), so head
to the Gringo
on-line shop if you want to pick up a copy.
April 2005
Our track on the split single
has been getting some radio play, with Jim Gellatly's Beatscene (Beat 106) and Stuart
McHugh's Fallout (Radio Magnetic)
both giving it an airing.
Some good reviews too, with Losing Today and Unpeeled giving it a
double thumbs up.
February 2005
The split single is now
available! You can buy it direct from gringo
records (singles club subscribers should be receiving
their copies this month).
August 2004
The track for the split single now has a name! It is titled "How
the Mighty Have Stagnated." More news on the release as soon as we
get it.
The gig with errors has been
put on hold for the moment, but should still be happening sometime in the future.
July 2004
The track for our split single is now in the capable hands of
Gringo. The finished
product should be dropping through subscribers' letterboxes in a
couple of months time.
June 2004
Welcome to our new home! After a rather lengthy holiday,
we have returned with a new website, a new band member, a new
record and hopefully some gigs too.
Our new internet home
is now www.empire-builder.co.uk
and we have given the site a big overhaul too. Hopefully you
like it!
Empire-builder are now 4. After years of
having 3 and a half members (thanks Craig!), we have finally
got somebody in full-time. Fergus has been practicing with us
for a while, and is settling into his role on guitar.
Gringo Records have
been busy too, with the singles club finally up and running.
We recorded our track our track earlier this month, and we are
really happy with how it turned out. Our single is to be
shared with Thunder! Thunder!
Thunder!, who are from Olympia, WA. Lion-O would be
proud.
Gringo now have a nice on-line shop.
The Waters of the Orient EP has now
sold out, but singles club related merch is now on sale.
See you soon!
